Third and best is that the chain tensioning screw has been moved out from under the chain to the side of the saw away from sharp oily cutting teeth and more importantly the heat.
This has been irrelevant to me as both perform well.
This saw starts quickly, usually 23 pulls cold and always 1 pull when warm.
The 55cc engine has so far run flawlessly and has excellent power, smooth acceleration, and good torque through out the rpm range.
This new saw has both a different sound and feel when running at high speed under a heavy load, perhaps a result of the 3 piece crank?
It chewed thru a 36 inch diameter oak in just a few minutes.
